Creating Your Own Free
Rounded Corner Templates - Page 1
You can play around creating your own free
templates too, using the following free programs. You will also
need a good HTML editor, I have had good luck and all my free
templates were created using Microsoft FrontPage .
(Actually I use FrontPage 2000 if you can find it, it is a bit
easier to use for this application)
The most important program is ZPaint. It was originally designed
to make 3D web buttons and software applications, but I use it to
create the entire template as a single image. Read more about it
and download it free HERE.

ZPaint only allows you to save the image as a huge Bitmap file so
you will also need an image editor that can convert a Bitmap image
to a Jpeg. You may already have an image editor that will do the
trick, but if you don't, download IrfanView for free HERE.

HINT: ZPaint does not allow
you to scroll the page to create large images like the ones needed
for template design. I would recommend to set your screen
resolution to a high setting like 1152 by 864 (or even higher).
You can do this in Window XP by right clicking on your desktop in
an open field and choose "properties". The in the
"settings" tab, slide the slider to the right to the
desired setting and click "apply". You may have to click
ok while it changes. (you can always change it back the same way
when you are done). 1. Open ZPaint, on the
top toolbar, under "settings", make sure "Shape
Settings Window" and "Surface Settings Window" are
checked. Then in the "surface" box, click on the color
wheel and choose your desired page background color. When your
desired color is in the "solid color" box, click the OK
button. (you do not have to choose a color here if you want a
white, black or gray background). Continue
